ABOUT FUEL FILTERS

All engine manufacturers have developed the fuel systems of their engines so much, so these systems have become highly sensitive to fuel quality, especially at diesel engine supply systems.
However, they did not develop fuel filters. As a result hard dirt and water can pass through these filters.

Diesel filters.

  • The filtering material in oil filters is the filter paper (blotter) and everyone uses this.
  • The filter paper within the filter oil forms a second, smaller project (figure) as the metal outer pattern (shape) of the filter.
  • The degree of infiltration reported by filter manufacturers in the filter paper is in microns and measured when the filter is new and dry.
  • After two, three thousand kilometers, the filtration degree is unknown

Diesel filter functionality

In the fuel line from the oil tank to the pump, the manufacturers installs filters to protect the supply system.
The filter consists from external side from a metallic oil depot and from inside of a filter paper.
When the engine runs, the pump sucks oil (vacuum) diesel from the tank including dirt and water that exist in it.
Diesel, in the path from the tank to the pump, goes from the outer side of the filtering paper within the filter, filtered by passing through it and goes to the pump.
A hard dirt that will be found on diesel will end up on filter paper.
But it is a matter of time when the hard dirt will pierce the filter paper because pump pulls the dirt along with diesel.

Water separating in diesel filters

Water has a greater weight than diesel
When there is water on diesel in water, with its weight is sitting on the bottom of the filter between the metal casing of the filter and the filter paper.
When the engine is not running and the vehicle is at rest position, water soaks the filter paper underneath and on a large quantity of water passes over it so when we start the engine pump pulls the water along with diesel .
For these reasons, while diesel engines have filters, after some mileage the pumps and injectors are destroyed from dirt or water and the repair is very expensive

SPECIAL FILTERING MATERIAL FMO®

The filter material that FMO® special filters uses is porous metal and can not be penetrated from hard dirt.
The FMO® porous metal filtration devices have 100%. degree of resistance to the hard dirt.
The filtering capabilitry of the FMO® porous metal filter devices does not change during use.
Fpfilters® with its filtering material adds new specification to the materials of filtering and this is the resistance to hard dirt.

Water trapping with FMO®

In the porous metal filter fpfilters®, the shape, beads, layout, pressing and welding are so constructed so only fuel passes the gaps, and when there is water in it to be rejected and concentrated on the bottom of fuel depot of the device.

Special features of the FMO®

  • Fuel economy
  • Less pollution
  • 100% special filtering
  • 100% water separating
  • Cleaning of the metallic filter when it is possible
  • Eco.
  • Made from 100% recycled parts
